- Go to the Tools menu > select Account Settings.
- Click the Add Account button.
- Choose the Email Account radio button. Click Next.
- Fill in your name as you would like it to appear (e.g., John Doe).
- Fill in your email address (e.g., John@yourdomain.com).
- Choose the POP radio button.(POP3 and IMAP are supported. If you are unsure of which selection to pick, choose POP3 as it is most widely used.)
- The Incoming Server name is: mail.yourdomain.com. Click Next.
- Incoming username is your NetID (e.g., John). Click Next.
- Enter a name for your account (e.g. John@yourdomain.com). Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Go to the Tools menu > select Account Settings.
- On the left side, under the account you just created, select Server Settings.
- On the right side of the dialog, be sure that Use Secure Connection (SSL) is CHECKED.
Finish the setup and you're set!
